You don't have to be an adult to make a difference.

Just ask Kayla and Crystal, two young karate students who completed 20,000 kicks to raise money and awareness for the Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders. Or ask Michael Ragosa, a five year old who asked for nothing more on his birthday than to have donations made to the Institute.

These are the kinds of stories that come from students involved with Martial Arts with Hearts (MAWH), a non-profit organization devoted to collecting for and donating funds to worthy charities. The students, associated with United Taekwondo Academies (UTA), live by a philosophy found across all martial arts programs: to become a champion for justice and cause for good.

Armed with this attitude, our students and those who support us are devoted to making a difference for a variety of causes such as the March of Dimes, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders (now called the Embrace Kids Foundation), COSAC, and now Enable Inc.

Please join us in our quest to “Change the World… One Kick… One Punch… One Karate Student at a Time!”

You don't have to have a black belt, just the desire to help those less fortunate.

“Courtesy, Integrity, Perserverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit”, Are words that our students recite at the beginning of every class. I am so proud to see that our students are not just saying those words, they are actually living them by making a difference in the lives of others.”
